Commercial Description:
Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

12 oz bottle @ The Linkery in San Diego. Beer one of my birthday. Pours gold with a small white head. Aroma is light sweet and malty. The taste is nice and sweet and fairly drinkable. Nice refreshing brew.

Chilled 750ml bottle. Fruity aroma, hints of banana and stonefruit, some spice and earth hops also in there. Very hazy orangey-golden body with a solid white head and the odd floaty. Dry on the palate from the word go, seems well attentuated, good yeast flavours dominate, notes of banana, peach, apricot and spice. Finish is quite bitter, with a bit of a sour note, with some grassy and earthy hop character coming through. A classic Aussie ale, unlike any other i’ve tried and a personal favourite.

Pours an effervesent cloudy gold into a shaker. Yeast leaves a nutmeg accent on ths snappy white head which recedes at a medium pace. Apricot and pit fruit aromas. Crisp, bitter fruit and slightly sour. Dry, lasting sour/hop finish. Will make a fine summer beer.

Bottle. Pours pale gold with some floaties and a nice white head; pour the sediment and it becomes opaque orange. The aroma is lemon bread, some grassy hops, and a little bit of yeasty spiciness. The flavor is tart and zesty up front, and lots of yeastiness comes in the middle. Sourdough notes arise once in a while. Grassy hops come out in the finish and linger into a dry, tingly aftertaste. Pretty refreshing, really.

Great head on top of a speckled gold body. Lots of floaters throughout. Aromas of citrus and yeast. Not bad flavor, just not impressive. I can see drinking a few of these on a hot day. I tried with and without the sediment mixed and I preferred mixed, but still not impressed.

Bottle. Cloudy, yellowish dirty golden with quite a bit of sediment.Sticky white head. Malty aroma with spices from ginger. Refreshing, spicy malt aroma, some balancing bitterness. Absolutely drinkable.

Fruity and fizzy palate with a light raspberry taste to it. Light caramel malts up front balanced out with a mild hop finish. Murkey orange color with a small white head. Good pale ale.
