| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 26, 2006 Bottle: slightly cloudy yellow-gold colour with a short-lived white head an heavy carbonation; yeasty smell and taste with a hint of apple, prickly in the mouth with some lingering bitterness. Much better than the typical Australian lagers available in the UK. SledgeJr (3003), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 25, 2006 In the bottle at Jackson’s on George. Oh to have a Coopers in Oz! Well, at least I thought it might be one of those things like Guiness where it would be life-changing in its country of origin. Not so much. It tastes pretty much the same as it does in the midwest. Not a bad beer, just not definitive. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 21, 2006 Pours a cloudy dark yellow. Generous, but quick to dissolve white head. Medium bodied with a spicy, yeastly flavour. Australia can brew a fine ale, no doubt about it. Borup (1360), Albertslund, Denmark
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 17, 2006 Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of fruit and yeast. Flavour of malt and yeast. Anglofile (135), Piti, Guam
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 12, 2006 Quickly dissipating head with a body full of yeasty speckles. Smelled and tasted extremely yeasty with some wheat flavor. Finish is somewhat bitter. Nice brew overall, but nothing special. stubby (326), Santee, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 9, 2006 A real quencher. Exploding with yeasty goodness, not terribly unlike a hefe, but not as spicy or fruity. I found its dry effervescence wonderful after a chicken dinner. Interesting and unique. burpfrank (292), carpinteria, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 6, 2006 This had a fast, growing head, which dissipated somewhat quickly. Not much aroma.Color was a cloudy yellow gold.First taste I felt this was just a little bit better than Coors or Budweiser, however after a few more tastes I felt it had some interesting soft flavors. The body is a medium light bodied beer.Has a hint of that crappy golden beer taste, but a stickyness to the palette.I taste a bit of grapefruit, maybe a little apple.Overall,I felt I paid too much for it.I can get a six pack of a good Sierra Nevada Celebration ale for less.Or my favorite,w-06 if it wasn’t out of season.I will pass on this in the future, but if I was at a party and this was offered along with the typical Coors or other mass produced common beer,I would choose this. strings (361), Sydney, Australia
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 3, 2006 Bottle. Tough one to rate, as my experience has always been fairly variable with this one... quite dependent on mood i think. This time I found that the benefits of a relatively tasty and full bodied fizzy apple juice were spoiled somewhat by a distinctly crappy finish.
