Commercial Description:
Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

Almost no smell, dark yellow with fizzy head that faded fast, nice light carbonation, slightly bitter with a tongue-tingling aftertaste.

Bottle from local off licence. A hazy amber coloured beer with a smallish head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Some honey and hops in the taste. I drank this daily when I was in Australia a couple of years back. I rather like it, sure beats Fosters!

Slightly hazy amber pour with nice head that slowly fades. Citrus and floral aromas up front, before some solid bready malts made their entrance. Smells a bit stale, and I can’t say I’m a fan of the coarse metallic Pride of Ringwood hop aroma. Flavours are less satisfactory, with non-descript light malt followed by a sharp, slightly hoppy, bitterness. Again, I’m not that much of a fan of the metallic POR bitterness. Good body, and the high carbonation works well with the sharp bitterness to create a refreshing dry finish.

A nice crisp ale with a citrus and malt balance. There is evident carbonation. This beer is easy to drink and enjoyable with a good steak. I will try it again in the future.

Hazy blond body with a thin white head. Malty nose with a touch of honey. Palate is okay, but a bit chalky. Good carbonation...very bright. A fairly good tasting beer. Honey malt sweetness up front. Finishes dry with a nice punch of sour citrus. Quite drinkable.
