Hazy and murky amber to orange in colour with a mild malt and hop aroma with an underlying hint of spice. Zingy in the mouth with a mild bitterness. Oscbert (549), Sacramento, California, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 24, 2009 ~Pours a hazy golden color with rather large white fluffy head. Lots of sediment floating around. Would be a 4 if it didn’t have chunks in it.
~Very yeasty and fruity, somewhat pear like aroma. Fairly weak and not that pleasant, but not bad.
~Yeast is dominant in flavor. A bit bitter, but not from hops. A yeasty bitterness. Some fruitiness.
~Light airy feel. Very dry.
~Drinkable but definitely a sub par brew.

It doesn’t make for an appealing looking beer. Outside of that, this is a fair but refreshing ale that reminds me of an American wheat ale. boFNjackson (1309), Portland, Oregon, USA

A lot of tangy yeast flavors with fruity phenols and crisp malt finish. Blockley (20), Sydney, Australia

Lamentably not nearly as popular as it should be in Australia. A very pleasant beer, which goes down easy without sacrificing anything. A copper/gold colour with an average, although perhaps slightly lacking, white head. It has a wonderful, full bodied flavour and lasting, mildly bitter finish. An impressive beer. smith4498 (906), Miami, Florida, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Had a bottle @ Outback Steakhouse. Very good. At first I had mistaken this as an IPA, which is basically the flavor you can expect from it. Hoppy, grassy aroma. Nice pour, with a slight amber hue. Solid taste, floral bouquet, not watered-down, medium body. Good stuff. phukktifano (159), Richmond, Virginia, USA
