Ungstrup (11353), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 8, 2003 An unclear orange beer with a small disappearing head. The aroma is faintly malty. The flavor is fresh, malty and feels sparkling on the tongue. Not a special beer - but maybe my hopes were too high after reading Michael Jacksons recommendation. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 1, 2002 Amber coloured and really cloudy. Pear aroma. Nicely malty, fruity with sparkling mouthfeel. A great, unusual, complex but still refreshing ale. Papsoe (10267), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 14, 2005 Updated: Jun 16, 2005(Bottle 37,5 cl) Used to be my favourite beer in Oz in 1988. Bill from La Fayette, CA used to call it a "No shit beer" because of the "no additives" and the bottle-sediment, which was unusual at the time. Well, a lot of beer has run through the system since then. Years later it doesn’t really live up to the sweet memories. Bronze-coloured and hazy, if you pour the sediment too it turns greyish brown. Dry, quaffable, only light hoppiness and a very subdued aroma. 181104 Oakes (6966), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 6, 2001 Re-Sample (08/01/01): Cloudy amber, no head; banana bread nose; crips maltiness, fruity touch of acidity, very refreshing in the finish. The yeast lends it an almost Belgian character (like an unspiced saison, perhaps?). My first few bottles of this did nothing for me, but I guess maybe it wasn’t enough. Take the thermometer up to 35C and this really gets good. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 11, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a lacing white head. Light hoppy aroma. Flavour is mildly sweet with a light fruity note. Light hoppy bitterness slowly growing into the finish.
