Brown glass bottle (2006). Cloudy amber/brown in colour with an off-white long lasting head. No lacing. Lots of sediment. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour, rather sweet and malty tasting with moderate bitterness. Nice finish.

Pours a beautiful cloudy almost burgandy color with a small head. It did smell like figs. It had a bready and a malt back bone to it. I thought it was a nice beer

Straight from the cellar, bottle covered in dirt for some odd reason. Nutty malts on the nose, earth hops, brown sugar, oaky rum, raisins and sultanas and more dried fruit. Pours a thick looking murky brownish copper body with a dense collar of lace. Body is sticky, packed with dark and dried fruits, some roasted malts come through with a subtle embrace of alcohol. Very nice. Can’t wait to try it with some more age under its belt.

Murky brown/red color with a light tan head. Nose of plum &/or apricots. Nice malty palate with a delicate alcohol intensaity and a smooth bitter finish at the back end. Better winter ale then in the middle of June. Nonetheless a very nice ale.
