Pours like cloudy milky apple cider with a half finger stable white head. Aroma is light and slightly sweet, apple juicey. The taste is very sweet, heavily carbonated a very lightly tweaked. Its a decent brew. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Very muddy brown color with a small white head. Sweet belgian estery aroma of spices, banana bread, caramel and raisins. Very fruity and bready taste with a rich caramel candy finish. By the nose I was anticipating this beer to be overly sweet, but it actually has some bitternss to balance it. This was the 2006 vintage. ChrisTurner (202), Melbourne, Australia
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Updated: Apr 23, 20072006 vintage -- A murky orangey brown with lots of sediment. A small off-white head that soon disappears, forming a ring around the glass. Just a little lacing. Simply delicious aroma of all things yummy on a cold winter’s night (pity it’s quite warm today...), rich fruit cake and caramel in particular and, perhaps, some spicyness. Fairly frothy mouthfeel, but nice and round. Alcohol warmth. The flavour is more fruit cake and caramel with maltiness as well. Some bitterness with a spiritous edge in the aftertaste. One of the best Oz beers I’ve had. Wonderful. bhensonb (4350), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 21, 2007 Batch No. 4-OCT/2002. Aromas of dark fruit and caramel. Translucent ripe apricot color, and the white head evaporated immediately. Medium mouthfeel. Fairly low carbonation. The start is malty sweetness, quickly followed by stone fruit notes. The finish is well balanced between fruit and hop. However, the finish is not strongly bitter. It’s really interesting. Something like a high alcohol British ale.
