Bottle. Sweet orange-prune aroma with strong hops nose. Cloudy orange-brown color with large tan head. Initially a sweet orange rind-prune flavor that quickly changes to a strong hops bitterness. Full bodied with light astringency. Favorably comparable to Belgian strong ales - extremely well blended.

A hazy orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet yeasty with notes of caramel and a dry end, but surprisingly I find the mouthfeel somewhat watery.

(BOttle 37,5 cl) Unclear, greyish amber and a small off-white head. Weird, indefinable smell - not very pleasant. Some caramel in the flavour and then really nothing much. Quite a disappointment. 160805

Muddy orange/brown. Thin white head. Sweet-ish, almondy, slight alcoholic nose. Acidic flavour. Somewhat papery. Watery mouthfeel. A little harsh bitterness in finish.

(on bottle at RBESG 2005 2004 edit.) Like a fluid mouthfull of butterscotch, caramel and cream. Not a trce of the alcohol and hops.
