Bottle. Shared with blankboy and garthicus. Purchased at Discount Liquors, May 2007. Slightly hazy amber, very small off-white head. Mild sweet aroma, citrus, some alcohol. Taste - same - some alcohol and herbal bitterness, but pretty bland. Light body, not much carbonation - not much of anything, really - this has broken down into a bit fat bottle of nuffin’

Thanks to HogTownHarry, shared with Blankboy and I. Appearance: Light golden orange with a small head. Aroma: malt, winter fruit, honey, tobacco?. Flavour: Malt, caramel again, slight alcohol, slight hops, long dry finish. Don’t overly care for this.

Amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is malty, dried fruit, dark fruit, alcohol, interesting yeasty character. Taste is a light fruitiness, mixed with toffee, light alcohol, mild hoppiness. Pretty easy drinking for 7.5

2008 vintage. Poured a dark coppery colour. Hazy and cloudy with a small head that does not stay long. Aroma of burnt malt. Nice strong flavour that lingers on the palate.

...bottle, 2008 vintage. Pretty goddamned good, I wish I would have tried it sooner. Shitloads of roasted malt flavors, and some alcohol warming. Spicy, nice mouthfeel, with a slightly alcoholic finish. Good shit.

Pours a cloudy swamp water brown with a small off white head. Nose is very fruity (tree fruits) with sweet malts. Flavor is fruity with a touch of booze......lively mouth feel.

2002 bottle...poured a honey-amber color with a nice white head on it and thick lacing. aroma is sweet with vanilla, caramel, honey, and some bread. flavor is slightly grainy with vanilla notes and a well balnced hoppiness but is clearly a bit past its prime as the mouthfeel is a bit watery. the finish is dry and oaky.

Amber-copper in color with a small white head. The aroma reminds me of corona with notes of cereal, malt, and a bit of honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of cereal and malt which made for a bland flavor. The texture is watery. Overall its not bad...drinkable, but nothing special.
