Commercial Description:
The first thing you'll notice about this Belgian style white ale is the aroma from the orange peel, coriander and chamomile. Unmalted wheat and oats give it a firm milky body and grainy flavor while the yeast contributes a quenching spiciness. Overall an effervescent and refreshing brew.

CBF 2005: Cloudy yellow. Light body. Notes of coriander, passion fruit, banana, white pepper, ginger, flowers, chamomile and tea. Very light bitterness (not enough) and somewhat drying. Rather soda-like; specifically, ginger ale.

Draught. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), trace hops (flowers), with notes of ginger ale and lime zest. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Flimsy but ok, very soda-like.

Murky and cloudy yellow with a large head. Mild flavor initially, then a very pronounced sour lemon, soap and spiced pine flavor. Not getting the chamomile, though, only in the nose with a big floral coriander aroma. Good stuff.

Poured in an 18oz glass. Billowing white head, faint citrus aroma. Body is cloudy and a very very light yellow, a great color. Taste is light, lemons and oranges dominate. Nice wheat taste, good finish. Very refreshing. Rerate: I don’t know what they did to this beer in the last year or so, but it’s gone way downhill. Tastes like a ginger beer now, not even to style.
