Commercial Description:
This hand drawn porter was aged in freshly emptied bourbon barrels for a month. Chocolate, coffee, malt, sweet corn, pepper and tart cherries are only a few of the myriad of flavors you will experience in this dark ale.

Draught. Head is mostly lasting. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (chocolate, molasses), with notes of wood, whisky, and vanilla. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively/soft carbonation. Marked bourbon/wood character but thankfully not dominating. Simple but drinkable.
