Commercial Description:
This traditional English ale gets its mild designation from the low hop bitterness. Crystal and Brown malt give it its ruby hues and biscuit and nut flavors. Golding hops add balance. It is served off a beer enginge with natural carbonation. 3.4% ABV.

Draught. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (nuts, cookie, caramel), with a note of diacetyl. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is trace sweetness, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. About as bland a mild as I’ve had, I think. Like drinking lightly butter-flavored carbonated water.

No head (growler), body is tan. Aroma is big and buttery, with caramel and nutty notes, nice. Taste is also very buttery, but somewhat one diminsional. Bitter, spicy/earthy finish to this one. Mouthfeel could use a little work. Needs to be less astringent, more nutty.

Draught. Pours light brown to bronze with a foamy tan head; creamy lacing. Sour leather yeast and caramel malt aromas. Creamy leather yeast and sour caramel malt flavor. Medium bodied and creamy palate.
