Commercial Description:
Our rendition of a classic ale style from Cologne, Germany. Its slightly fruity character and lighter flavor make it an easy-drinking brew.

Draught. Pours pale gold with a thin white film with lined lacing. Sour malt (cereal, meal) and yeast (dough) with citrus hop notes. Malt and bitter acidic yeasty flavor with citrus hop notes. Light bodied and lively carbonation.

I had hoped for something more like the Reisdorf, but this beer ended up more like Heineken...Looked impressive with its big head and lace...but I didn’t end up finishing the 20oz glass I was given...a little too boring for me...

Yellow. Light malts (doughy, grainy), red apple, banana, clove, vanilla and nutmeg in the nose. Quite skunky and "green" quite frankly with a salty sea taste and husky grain flavor. Very unpleasant in the flavor and not very good overall.

Light yellow with a large white head. Dry, punchy, grainy and gritty about sums this one up. Cereal malt flavors, quite sour. Nose of a typical lager with some wheat.

Clear yellow, foamy head. Very fruity and sweet. Very bitter for kolsh style. Came with some very pilsner-esk characteristics.

This was very light bodied. Taste was sweet and bready with ample carbonation. Finish was mildly hoppy and crisp.

Not the best offering at Coopersmith’s, my Dad liked it though.

Seems "weighty" for the style (in the malt department, at least), yet I thought it was good and balanced. Subtle sweetness and flowery hoppiness in its dry finish.
