Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Aug 12, 2005 Pours a crystal clear light tan, with a volumous white head. Head settles down to a thin, well retained layer with medium lacing. Aroma has apricots, grainy wheat, and hints of German hops. Taste has a honey sweetness, followed closely by a big dose of bitter German hops and a light fruitiness that might be described as melon or peach. Hops come off bold and spicy, leaving a tangy, slightly mineralized finish that slowly fades. Body is light, but not watery. Excellent job with the hops on this beer.
