Commercial Description:
Our stout is full-bodied and dark. We use a generous amount of roasted malts to give this a hearty flavor. The use of oats in the mash gives our stout a creamy-mouth feel which is enhanced by a fine head from nitrogenation instead of carbonation. This beer is an acquired taste for the traditional American beer drinker but soon becomes a favorite for the adventuresome. 6.2% ABV

On tap at the brewpub. A better than average stout. I enjoyed the beer and food at this brewpub.

On tap at Coopersmiths Pub. Looked beautiful, with an opaque black color and a creamy tan head that left great lacing. Initial slightly bitter taste is followed by notes of roasted malts and a hint of coffee flavor. Feels excellent on the palate, and is very drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a creamy thick dark beige head that just won’t quit. Smooth perfect palate. Delicious licorice and roasted coffee flavors. Incredibly silky and smooth. The carbonation levels are very low. You coulod drink a bathtub full of this in one sitting.

Draught from the brewpub poured into sampler - Pours dark red amber with a malty tan head that lasts and leaves nice lacing head; Coffee, milk and dark chocolate, and roasted malt to the nose; Coffee, roasted malt, milk chocolate, and milk on the initial taste; Malt, coffee, and a bitter roast backtaste; Nice creamy medium palate; Light carbonation; Very impressive. Great stuff!

dark brown almost pitch black with a coffee tinted gray head. roast in the nose with light coffee. a tad hidden bit of chocolate. watery body with a nice coffee & cocoa with a smooth acorn note. a nice stout. finished with nothing, but makes me happy. coffee comes out late in this.

This is just velvety smooth all the way around. Aroma of cold coffee, and chocolate covered caramel dominates the flavor. Creamy and smooth and just what I was looking for in a stout.

Had this on-tap at the brewery. This beer poured a nearly opaque dark, warm born color with a small, lasting, nitro-fueled head that left a nice lacing. The armoa was simple; dominated by roasted malt, smoke and coffee. The flavor was quite sweet all of the way through it’s average-length finish. The palate was velvety, with a light-to medium body and light carbonation.

Draught. Pours black with brown hints and a foamy tan head. Sweet chocolate caramel dark roasted malt aromas with yeast (dough) notes. Bitter dark malt and sour yeast flavor. Dark and thin creamy palate.
