Aroma is nice enough with notes of hops and a hint of caramel. Medium body, but too much carbonation. Flavor is very well balanced, in fact way too well balanced. This is an IPA man, where the hell are the hops? tomthompson89 (1489), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

New fresh bottle, i think the one i had before was a little stale, less malt flavor more fresh hops, very well balanced and very easy to drink, could easily down a case of this on a nice weekend at the cottage. BEERGUY007 (206), Scotia, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 12, 2008 Well, light brown, nice head. Smells very hoppy, very bitter. Yes appopriate to the style, but too much for my liking. It’s ok, Maybe Ill try again in the summer when it’s warmer. Probably more appropriate then. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Poured a slightly hazy gold color with a medium sized almost white head. The aroma has a floral and almost spicy note to it. The flavor had more hops than malt. Some citrus and floral notes. The malt had some sweetness to it. Odd flavor in the finish. Semi-dry with a light to medium body. Mild to moderately bitter. kyzr (1123), Belgrade, Montana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Gold pour with small white head. Orange peel nose with a hint of malt. Flavor is hoppy and bitter with some a touch of pepper. Ver little malt to balance it out, with a dry finish. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 25, 2007 A rather cloudy, golden IPA covered by a generous white head that mostly lasts. A rather bubbly example that is too insistant on the yeast and lacks in cleanliness. Bready more than malty and mediocre in the hop expressiveness. I did not see a date on the bottle, perhaps this was not in its freshest taste, but this was blantantly lacking in the aromatic department and felt more sweet than bitter. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 24, 2007 In short: Messy IPA with lame malt profile
How: Fresh bottle from Cathschlag (post-Cathschlag-couch moving)
The look: Cloudy dark orange with a large off-white head
In long: Very yeasty IPA lacking in the malt department. The little malt in there is pretty flavourless, barely any caramel or anything. The hops are peppery with some acidity. The bitterness is… wrong, for lack of a better word. Fluffy body. Little league IPA, back-yard IPA indeed.
