Clear orange bronze pour has a nicely-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of lightly caramely toasty malt and grapefruity hops. Starts pretty full and slightly grainy malty with some earthy bittering and flavor hops. Finishes bittersweet and fairly mild for an IPA, otherwise, it’s pretty drinkable.

This is part of a beer club tasting. Only had one bottle but it was a decent taste for the price. Would like to try again after it poured great and left a nice after taste.

Bottle purchased in Cooperstown. Metallic golden-orange body with a sudsy, buffy white head. Tangy citric hop aroma with toasty, lightly caramelized grain signatures. Standard grapefruit hop signatures becoming more piney in a medium bitter finish. Relatively light body. This brewery is in the ilk of Middle Ages in that they seem more focused on marketing than product. I have a feeling that Bud Selig would approve of that strategy.

Bottle… Clear golden ale with a huge, rocky, white head. Terrific retention. Nice, malty nose of toffee and toasted grain with plenty of earthy hops thrown into the boil. The flavor has a solid caramel malt backbone that lends support to the wildly generous addition of bitter hops. This beer is heavily sweet and heavily bitter for near-perfect balance. Full-bodied and downright syrupy with medium carbonation. Lengthy, bitter-sweet finish that hints at fuzzy fruit. A shout goes out to growler for giving me the bottle!

Bottle. Cloudy, deep orange-brown. No head. Limited foam activity on surface. Bitter, hoppy, light orange hints. Thin body - not much of a flavorful explosion. Tangy residual flavoring. Ok.

Probably my favourite of their offerings, however it doesn’t pack enough punch to really rank highly on my favourite IPA list. It’s a great beer for a novice to start in on, a very subtle bitterness and just a faint deep hop presence. It’s amber in color and does have a classy looking label :)

Bottle. Poured a mostly clear amber/orange with a frothy off-white head. Again with the fake butter diacetyl aromas! Come on, guys! (You are now making me dread opening my bottle of Pride of Milford). Anyway, flavor here of caramel malts and underwhelming hops--somewhat citrusy, somewhat grassy, but pretty meager for IPA and not enough to hide the flaws.

Nice solid drinking IPA. Nice minor hop overtones. Just enough malt to round out the experience.
