A nicely balanced IPA, more English than the West Cosat Hop monster. Very refreshing bitterness, hit the spot on a hot day. Very citric in the aroma. A nice gift from Santa.

[Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm] Clear amber, brief head. Strong hop aroma of lychee and apples. The clean, very hard mouthfeel induces metallic notes and reduces malt flavour to a minimum. Salty finish with lingering bitterness.

With a floral nose intermingled with orange lollipop and a fruity bitter finish, this is an excellent IPA for the drinkin’. Malt character is present with a sweet toffe zing at the finish. The finish is long and bitter on the back center of the tongue. Deep amber and topped with a big off-white head, this brew has great lacing, nearly coating the sides of my pint glass. If you like a bitter beer that is not completely dominated by hops, Backyard is a good choice.

On tap at the brewery. This poured a medium gold with a frothy off white head. The aomra was sweet toffee with a little butter. There was also some oranges in the smell. The taste was bitter with grapefruit, peanuts and bread. Nutty for an IPA. A good one.

Bottle- from sampler pack. Pretty good, but more malty and less hoppy than most IPA’s. Good flavor, though.

This is a malty IPA. There was some hops here, but more caramel then hops. Different take, not a bad brew.

Bottle. Golden pale w/ right size white froth head. Sweetbread corn aroma. Very bitter flavor, not very pleasant hop - nothing to balance the bitterness. cough drop - ludens honey finish. barely ok.

Poured an effervescent amber with a fizzy off-white head. Aroma of grass, paint thinner, some sweet citrus. Taste starts off as piney hops and some orange but spirals downhill quickly. Flavors such as diacetyl and aluminum start showing up. Finish is dry and metallic. Subpar IPA.
