Malty aroma is dominant after a pour of cloudy gold brew and off-white head. This beer first tastes sweet - orange and plum and flowers and sweet malts - and then leaves a bitter aftertaste. Thin to medium body and lacking the crispness of many distinctive IPAs. Overall, it lacks pizazz.

Truly uninspired IPA, that would better come off as a middle of the road pale ale. Bready malt actually edge out what little hops there are in the aroma. Thin body shows a bit more hop character, with a some bittering in the finish. The hops are grassy throughout. Hopefully this is just an older bottle, but since it was purchased in NY, probably not.

Middle of the road IPA, reminded me of a Stoudt’s APA. Nice beer for warm weather back yard drinking. Just be sure you have bug spray.

Bottle: Citrusy hop nose and a hazy light amber body; sharp hops, dry finish and uninteresting flavor; uninspired.

(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with shadey, thanks Shane!) Oh Jesus, I barely poured an ounce of beer, and I have nearly a glass full of off-white, large-bubbled head. Sigh… I managed to get a few more ounces in the glass, but now I’m stuck waiting for the head to die down. I think I’ll be waiting for a while because I’ve never seen a beer with such a massive army of carbonation bubbles rushing to the surface. It’s like a bunch of divers with their air tubes cut. This is some crazy shit here. The color is a bright amber and it’s fairly cloudy. Well, despite the aid from the carbonation bubbles, the head is dying down to a reasonable size fairly quickly, and the resulting formation is like a rocky mesa. The nose is extremely sweet, perfumy, floral and fruity, lots of peaches, pleasant for sure, but not especially hoppy, and I’m not getting anything in the way of malt. I’m finally able to drink some of the liquid, and it’s also very floral and fruity (again, peaches, but also some orange citrus), somewhat soapy, mildly bitter from grapefruit-like hops, and quite sweet, but the malts are pretty light overall. Medium bodied, but this beer is definitely overcarbonated because the beer expands once inside my mouth. Large clumps of head defy gravity and stick to the glass, along with some patchy lacing here and there. Overall, it’s a decent IPA that, though not typical of the style, is quite enjoyable, once the head dies down enough to finally drink the beer. And yet, the mass of carbonation bubbles continue to blaze through the beer. And the head is still a few inches thick. Crazy.

Another average IPA, nothing that’s going to knock you over with it’s flavor. But I guess that’s what some people want....

Fairly standard yet enjoyable IPA. Definitely not a knockout IPA, but still an enjoyable session. Orangey pour, typical bitter hop aroma. Very little head. Aroma is hoppy with some grapefruit. Also aroma has yeast character similar to the rest of their brews.

A nice hop presence. Real crisp. caramel and honey malt notes. amber in color with a thin white head. finsihed smooth and sweet.
