This beer poured a medium sized tan head that contained fine-small sized bubbles that was mostly lasting. It had an opaque body with no carbonation and a reddish-brown hue. The nose consisited of malt, coffee and some hops. The flavor was sweet, somewhat bitter, chocolate, and coffee that left a lingering aftertaste. It had a creamy, smooth and dry mouthfeel and it was medium bodied. This beer left a good lacing on the sides of my glass. This beer reminded me more of a stout than a porter and it had a little too much of a coffee flavor for my tastes.

Reddish brown hue with good tan head and some lace. The aroma hinted of toasted malts, semi-sweet chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut coffee, and aromatic hops. Taste started out sweet and nutty and developed a light bitter undertone. Some acidic twang on finish which was coffee dry. The mouthfeel was creamy and soft which was nice. Overall a pretty darn good porter, almost stout-like. Will have again.

A nice solid porter. Roasty, coffee flavors, but in my opinion a bit over-hopped for the style. A good porter none the less

This brew poured a small head of fine to medium sized bubbles that were mostly lasting and left a xxxx lacing and a uncarbonated opaque dark brown colored body behind. Its aroma is verly mildly sweet malted. THe mouthfeel is smooth with a slight bitter hop finish to it. The flavor is of coffee malt and some dark chocolate. An average porter with no real outstanding qualities or characteristics.

roasty aroma with big caramal notes and hints of nuts and solvent..very roasty flavors with a big caramal foundation..some sweetness but not too much..and maybe even a tad dry at times..some bitterness shows up at the end..playing off a semi-sweet aftertaste nicely

Deep brown, tan head. Malty aroma, some coffee as well. Not a very strong flavor, but what is in there is good. Dry finish. Decent porter.

dark brown with nice tan head that settles as it warms. Same wonderful chocolate aroma is the stout with some other malts coming in to play. Coffe in there as well. Some very dry acidity takes away from the finish. Nice overall.
