12oz bottle from heemer77, no date. Pours a deep reddish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of some chocolate, nuts, a little coffee, and caramel malts. Aroma is a little sour up front, nuts and chocolate making an appearance into a bitter roasted malt chalky dry finish. Light-medium bodied, moderately carbonated. Not too shabby.

Courtesy of Beastiefan2k
Aroma is malty/fruity sweet with mild dark fruit and coffee notes. Body is dark brown with a MASSIVE three finger thick head. Looks and smells very belgian. Odd. Fore is mildly fruity with some roasty and chocolatey notes and a milf yeastiness. This HAS to be made with Belgian yeast. It feels amazingly Belgian in texture, smell and flavor. The head even has that crazy fluffy/creaminess most belgian ales have. Very sweet and narrow through all flavor ranges with roasted notes (subdued but present) and ample dark fruit notes. Good, but VERY un-Porter like.
I checked the website (minutes later) and they say they use Ringwood yeast. That makes some sense as that Yeast is pretty aggressive, but this thing feels and tastes so Belgian in origin I wonder if they didn’t substitute a Belgian yeast for a batch.

This porter had the most incredible mouthfeel I can remember in a porter. Slick and silky. The body was brown and copper with a thick khaki head. The aroma was roasted with coffee and some fresh bread. The taste was chocolate and mild coffee. This is a very good brown style porter.

Pours black with a small tan head that quickly fades. A present aroma of coffee and roastiness. Some chocolate as well. Taste is mainly the bitter aspect of coffee. Too watery, leaves a weird soda like aftertaste.

On draught at the brewery. Pours brown with a thin tan head. Smells roasty with some earthy hops present. Taste is mellow and sweet with a roasty nutty finish.

12oz bottle via trade with beastiefan2k - Thanks Eugene! - Pours dark brown with a large creamy tan head that stayed pretty well and laced the sides of the glass. Aromas of roasted malts, and a touch of coffee. Flavor is mostly roasted malts as well. A touch of coffee and chocolate but not much. A little touch of sourness on the back of each sip. Body is medium with a somewhat watery consistency and a lot of carbonation.

Bottle - from sampler pack. This is a very good porter. Somewhat malty, nice roasty flavor and aroma without getting confused with a stout.

Poured dark, very nice burnt aroma, Fizzy tan head. Good body. Nice porter. The finish has that same sour taste, as the 3 others from these guys.
