Bottle. Nose-apple, cherry, perfume, disenfectent. Almost opaque body with a large head. Flavor-raisin bread, yeast, and cookies. The front end is nice, but the back end is a little too sharp and plastic feeling.

Big head! The biggest of the most recent four or five porters I’ve had, clinging and off-white, on a reddish body. Fruity, perfumey, plastic (in a good way), grape, green apple, though not so much apple in the flavor as in the aroma. Flavor also has raisins, roasted notes (esp. in the finish), long bitterness, and a hint of eraser rubber. Frothy palate. Not completely satisfying, but interesting.

deep brown with a huge light khaki head. fruity almost mango aroma that brings chemicals to mind. chewu, oakey biscuit flavor with some raisin in the finish that leaves a rubbery pencil eraser taste on my tongue. not a favorite.

Wow, talk about a watery porter. The only satisfaction was watching the pour, as the head was fun to watch form. Roasted fruity aroma with coffee. More fruity. Something about it smells wrong. Not skunked, but maybe artificial. There is a piercing finish to it that I didn’t like despite how smooth it was at first.

Really really sweet aroma. Nice roasted flavor that has a delicate attack, that lingers for a while.

(12oz bottle) Pours a big brown head that fizzes as it slowly settles, atop a clear mahogany body. Aroma is strong, moderately sweet, chocolate, cream, some coffee, light butter, faint metallic. Taste is medium sweet, chocolate, roasty, coffee, some nutty, light burnt, cherry. Medium body, light acidity.

Chocholaty, slightly milky nose. Deep roast, sweet milk. Slightly burnt finish. A little bitter cherry/nut

a little butter in the nose...but oh shit as it warms it gets worse, and i hate the buttery aroma and buttery flavor. diacytyl or whatever its a major league strikeout in my book. one-two-three strikes its out. but while retiring to the dug out it should keep its head high because ive been way more turned off by other beers. theres a place for this beer in the minors, away from me im afraid. but somewhere. its not as bad as the yankees would be if they played like thier fans act.bad.
