Soft aromatic aroma, more like euro hoppiness, nice malt, softly sweet but not too much. Flavour had decent bitterness, nicely constructed clean ale. Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 1, 2004 Golden orange hue. Small sticky off-white head. Light floral, maltnose. Toffee malts, light to medium bodied, finishing with crisp sticky hops. Nothing stupendous here. but drinkable and nicely balanced. goz (359), Chelmsford, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2003 Pours clear amber, with a large rocky tan head that leaves a light lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity (mostly apple), sweet, and slightly floral from the hops. Flavor is fruity, sweey, slightly floral in the light hoppy finish. Medium in body, ending is quite dry for an ale with this much sweetness. 1more4dessert (231), Upstate, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 29, 2003 as noted, very much an enlgish pale in the Bass sense, nothing exceptional here. Light amber with fizzy white head. Middling dose of english hops and ringwood yeast. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 8, 2003 I guess you can call this an American Pale Ale because it's brewed in America..but...it has more marks of an Emglish ale, or even ESB at times,hoppy,sweet malt character and of course ringwood. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 3, 2003 The appearance of this beer when poured was that of a large tan sized soapy head with fine-small bubbles that quickly dissipated. The body was clear with carbonation observed and the hue was copper. The nose was malty, fruity and hoppy. It had a hoppy and sweet flavor along with a tingly and smooth mouthfeel. This was a light bodied beer with fair lacing. thedm (3837), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 21, 2003 This brew poured a large head of very long lasting white finely sized bubbles that left a good lacing and a transparent uncarbonated deep amber colored body behind. Its aroma is very mild but detectable as that from a typical pale ale. Its flavor is again typical of a pale ale with a notable hop content and some mild spices. The mouthfeel is only mildly bitter but its memory stays with you for a while. DaSilky1 (2033), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 2, 2003 that pale ale color that is not so pale but amberish..somewhat lasting head..mixture of fruity and grainy aromas..maybe a smidgen of green grape..soft palate of grape fruit flavors and just a tad bitterness..kinda boring but unoffensive.
