3/11/08 notes, cup from brewery tasting. A copper-colored APA like Deschutes Pale Ale, this beer has nice complexity of malts and hops, nothing really jumps out at you. Caramel and Brown sugar form base of flavors, though hops balance out the sweetness. Wouldn’t go out of my way to try again.

I was digging the old school baseball theme going on with the labels, but my excitement faded quickly with the first sip. Just a dull thud overall with no real nose, body, or finish to speak of. I like my Pale Ales to be hearty and crisp...but this one strikes out in my book.

Pours amber with an off white head. Aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and brown sugar. Medium body. Flavor starts out with some sweet caramel, then some citrus followed by a very quick finish. Pretty average.

Pours a clear dark amber brown. No head. Nose is like almost a caramel that has been overcooked. Bordering on burnt. Flavor is leafy. Kind of a dead leaf kind of thing. A bit rustic and worn down. Kind of slightly sweet on the side. Feel is thick on the liquid with standard carbonation. Overall this is one you wouldn’t miss much on if you passed. No great shakes.

Thanks to hopdog. Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma of mixed citrus, caramel and fruity notes. Flavor of malty sweetness, apricot and some citrus. Tingly carbnation.
