It really is a special ale. OK head but no real lace. Very unique flavor. Carmelly and a little sticky sweet. McGarnigle (313), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 5, 2008 Bottle. Clear copper with an off-white head. Slight diacetyl aroma. Body is medium, sparkly carbonation. I don’t really detect the fruitiness others do. It’s malty without hop bitterness, but it is also somewhat dry. It’s somewhat biscuity to me. A bit of the alcohol comes through. I think this is a very interesting beer, and I’d drink it again. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2007 Shiny orange-toned amber body with a modest, sudsy off-white head. Aroma is like cinnamon toast. Flavor of tea-like malt, butterscotch and some pleasant warm spice. Moderately sweet and lightly bitter with a medium body and notable diacetyl. Like a strong bitter or winter warmer. This is the best offering that I encountered from this brewery, but I expect even more from a beer that has Pride of MILF in its name.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 18, 2007 An interesting offering as a unique beer of their brewery. I liked the complexity of the malts, the alcohol is hidden well, but it didn’t make me want to drink more of it (seems like that is the theme over at Cooperstown Brewery) sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 19, 2007 Bottle. Poured dark clear copper with a frothy off-white head. Fruity aromas of cantaloupe and pear, with a bit of butterscotch, but not the pungent diacetyl I found in some of the other Cooperstowns. Prominent toffee malt and fruity flavors up front seem to mysteriously dissolve, leaving a generally watery and diluted tasting finish, where any hop bitterness is basically washed away. It’s a shame because there are great full flavors here, but they are not being properly supported by the awkwardly thin body. It tastes like an otherwise decent but underdeveloped cask-conditioned beer that’s been put in a bottle. bu11zeye (5545), Frisco, Texas, USA
