Commercial Description:
"Pride of Milford" is a very special ale with a tapestry of complex flavors and aromas. It is brewed with five malts and fermented with the Ringwood yeast at a higher temperature which gives this beer a uniqueness all its own. "Pride" has a distinctive reddish copper color. It is strong and rich beer. When "Pride" was first brewed in December 1999, many thought the flavor and aromas of this beer had fruit overtones. No fruit or adjunct flavoring is added to this beer.

Bottle 355ml
Appearance: Clear amber ale with medium light creamy cover.
Nose :Alcoholic weave into woody hints, hint of vanilla dipped cherry and of twizzlers.
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied , quiet empty frontal but with more character in the middle and finish. Semi-dry alcohol warmth, processed vanilla and dough. At finish texture becomes chewy and more complex. Brew with obvious flaws that transforms into likeable thing.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a dissapearing off white head. Caramel aroma with candy sugar, cherry and hops. Medium body. Flavor has a general fruit sweetness, as well as caramel and hop notes. Not that bad.

Pours a dark amber body with an off white head. Aroma is sweet malt with a potent hop aroma of citrus. Flavor is dominated by malt and the citrus hoppy sting comes in in the finish. okay.

3/12/08 notes: bottle. Pours a light amber-orange with a small head. Has a Medium mouthfeel with soft carbonation that is fairly sticky. Mellow flavors include roasted malts, caramel, cascade and fuggle hops with some fruitiess. All flavors were blended together gently in a charmingly mellow sort of way. 7% Alcohol is hidden nicely, and I think this may be tops from the Cooperstown brewery.
