Commercial Description:
Is more like the stouts of England which are somewhat sweeter than the Irish national drink. All in all, "Strike Out" Stout is a very smooth, well rounded "brew" with a full roasty palate.

This is such a drinkable stout that’s a tad on the sweet side with a nice subdued bittering chocolate roastiness; smooth and sublte while retaining all its’ stoutness; lovely.

Black appearance with a medium dark head. Decent roasted aroma. Chocolate/ caramel flavor which def made the beer. Smooth, thick. Pumped to try more Cooperstown.

Well, maybe they didn’t strike out on this one, but it was a fly out. Light nose, very foamy head, dark brown color. Toasted malt with a lingering roasted coffee finish. Too thin - like a porter. Really - nothing to get excited about.

Big frothy hazelnutbrown head on the dark brown brew. Light malty nose. Malty and nutty taste.

12 oz bottle: pours dark golden brown with a fluffy, maroon, small bubbled head. A thin cream persists. Darkly roasted berry-malt aroma that contains a nice freshness, in spite of an overwhelming musty chocolate flavour. I also detect some burnt nuts and crisp ash. Creamy, smooth palate with a thick milky finish that though lactic and slightly acidic and sour is oddly pleasant.

Black color with medium tan head. Aroma was tinny, roasted coffee and wet cardboard. thing going on. Taste was dry and acidic. Mouthfeel was smooth but I didn't care for this at all.

Definitely not a strikeout. Perfumey, creamy body and excellent black sparkling color, consistent foam, some dark carmels, rich roasts. Very nice.

(Bottle) Pours a mediu, biege, frothy head and an opaque body. Nose of deep roasted coffee. Appears thin. Somewhat tart roasted malt flavour with a lasting watery hop finish. Good beer but I had hoped for better from this brewery.
