Commercial Description:
Is more like the stouts of England which are somewhat sweeter than the Irish national drink. All in all, "Strike Out" Stout is a very smooth, well rounded "brew" with a full roasty palate.

Bottle. Pitch black color. 1/2" foam head. Grapes, pinor noir classic roasted nut quality. Weak, absent inital taste but comes back at end with a subtle note of nuts, dates. This whole brewery really is playing at one tier below where they could or should be. Novelty marketing does not equal quality beer.

Big and bold in flavour, I didn’t get the body that you normally find in a good stout. Its a little watery for my taste, but it’s a good start. I also found myself wishing for a little bit more of a bolder hop presence, but oh well.

Bottle. A black beer with a big beige head. The aroma is of roasted malt, rye bread and chocolate, so is the taste. Medium body with a light roasted finish.

Bottled. Dark reddish brown coloured. Light brown head. Sweetness, fruits and light roast in the aroma. Flavour is roasty and sweet. Has some cocoa and vanilla notes. A bit bland and thin bodied. Dry. Roasty and light chocolatish in the end.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear, black with a reddish hue and a dense, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt. Fairly light body with lightly burned malt accents - hard roasted malt. The bitterness is fairly subdued. 270607

Dark brown. Off-tan head slowly settles into a creamy surrounding. Roasted barley and pungent roasted malt scents leap from the glass. Hints of black currants, coffee, vanilla bean, and caramel. Lively carbonation. Brisk roast immediately coarsens the slick Ringwood-induced fruitiness. Velvety smoke comes by way of rich espresso which perpetually underlies the earthy and gritty roast. Diacteyl is well composed and merely serves as a complementary touch to the notably deep, rich and layered malt body. Toffee-like Munich notes generates a honeyed-biscuit quality as well. Plummy fruitiness enhances the black malt acidity which offers lift and heightens quaffability. Finishes dryly roasty with a silky swirl of caramel and roasted barley kissed wiith grittier underlying char textures and flavors. Another solid offering from this fun brewery.
