Commercial Description:
Is more like the stouts of England which are somewhat sweeter than the Irish national drink. All in all, "Strike Out" Stout is a very smooth, well rounded "brew" with a full roasty palate.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of coffee, nut and chocolate malt. Lively, creamy tan head. Roasted malt unsweetened choco dominate flavor, and a hint of vanilla and banana as well. Has nice, stouty feel to it, finished well. All in all, a great stout.

Courtesy of Beastiefan2k <!-- P --> Aroma is mildly roasty, heavier on chocolate and has a very off warm plastic tinge to it. Body is black with a quickly diminishing two finger thick mocha head. This is one of the faster vanishing heads (of this size) I have ever seen. Nice roastey fore that is mildly bitter and a touch thin for a stout. Has some very faint coffee and chocllate notes, but is mostly dominated by the roasted malt flavors. It tastes pretty good actually just doesn’t go anywhere really-like an akward kid dancing in one spot afraid to move his legs. The finish is very watery even for a sweet stout and that really kills the feel of the beer style wise, but flavor wise it’s okish.

The body was dark brown, but not quite black. The head was light brown colored. There was oak, chocolate and some grainy wheat in the aroma. The taste was coffee with chocolate and some grassy chcaracter.

Bottle poured very dark brown, barely translucent and no head. This really should be a porter IMO. Smell is present - roasty coffee. Taste is watery, thin body. Leaves a faint bittery coffee aftertaste.

On draught at the brewery. Pours brown with a light brown head. Smells slightly nutty. Taste is chocolate and some fruit.

12oz bottle via trade with beastiefan2k - Thanks Eugene! - Pours a deep dark brown with a big airy tan head. Looks just like a good stout should. Aroma is coffee and roasted malt with a little chocolate but not much. Flavor is more sweet still many of those roasted notes and good coffee presence but a nice sweet milk chocolate flavor is more prevalent in the flavor. Palate is medium bodied and pretty well carbonated. Finish is somewhat dry and roasty flavor lingers afterwards. Not bad.. seemed appropriate to drink while watching the Indians baseball game today.

Bottle, from sampler pack. Quite a good stout. Good roasty flavor dominates. Very dark and opaque.
