Commercial Description:
Is more like the stouts of England which are somewhat sweeter than the Irish national drink. All in all, "Strike Out" Stout is a very smooth, well rounded "brew" with a full roasty palate.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt. The flavor is swwet malty with strong notes of hard roasted malt, giving it a slight acidic edge, but also a light touch of chocolate, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks to my friend Lez White in Baltimore for supplying me with this.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear, black with a reddish hue and a dense, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt. Fairly light body with lightly burned malt accents - hard roasted malt. The bitterness is fairly subdued. 270607

Black; fudgey, milk chocolate nose w/ vanilla, sweet malts. This is like drinking the finest Belgian chocolate - no artificial chocolate taste either (Rogue), this is creamy, natural goodness. There is a touch of balancing roast to make sure this glides smoothly. Session stout extraordinaire.

(12oz bottle) Very large brown head atop a brown-black body. Aroma is moderately sweet, milk chocolate, some caramel, light espresso. Taste is moderately sweet, chocolate, caramel, light plum, faint smoke. Light-medium body, some effervescence, seemed a trifle thin.

Thank you Steve/Coldbrewky for this nice stout with a low ABV and a lot of nice flavour - I like it a lot! It’s black and the head is huge, light brown and creamy. The aroma has notes of coffee and chocolate. The flavour has nice notes of coffee and licorice and a nice, pleasant bitterness. It’s very charming, uncomplicated and has a good body even if the ABV is rather low. Very nice! 2054

Bottle. A black beer with a big beige head. The aroma is of roasted malt, rye bread and chocolate, so is the taste. Medium body with a light roasted finish.

Bottle: Opaque black pour has dark mahogany edges and a small froth of tan head. Has a soft dark chocolate and toffee nose. Body has a lot of carbonation and some earthy dark chocolate flavors and smoky ash flavors toward a thinner, roasted finish. An ok stout, but could use some more sweetness.
