Smells like toffee, sweet coffee and a note of milk chocolate. Same flavor profile and is medium sweet with little balancing character of any sort. Thin body—desperately needs to be brewed at a higher mash temperature, I think. Soda-like in flavor and feel. Reminds me of a chocolate-caramel soda. Thin and lacking in depth, much like the MLS.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 18, 2007 Just sampled it, I was told it was only two weeks old. They mentioned it had a bunch of different malts, and while I see that is the case, I feel like it doesn’t contain enough yeast or hop backbone to support all the malt that is present. Its a very malty beer, not a ton of carbination, but an interesting offering to say the least. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark
