Upon the initial pour the head remains small and consists of large bubbles which rapidly disappear. The flavor is slightly sweet and the finish on the palate is weak and nonexistent. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA

| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Jan 1, 2006 Better than most low carb ’beers’ but still has little more than a dash of corn, grains and hops. Flavored water with the body of flavored water. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Dec 27, 2005 Pours a fizzy light yellow color. Aromas of corn and little else. Low-carb = low flavor. I’ve had flavored water with more body than this crap. ebarnes (213), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Watered down low-carb beer. If you’re looking for flavor, there’s none here. More than Micolob Ultra has at least. Ritterkreuz (179), Seneca Falls, New York, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 12, 2005 A product of the low carb craze, this is a watery brew. It doesn’t taste bad, but it doesn’t good, in fact, it has almost no taste at all. frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Dec 9, 2005 Crystal-clear golden with a soda pop head that just fizzes away. There’s not much going on in the aroma and flavor, but what ISN’T there (in its defense) are adversities: no DMS, no diacetyl, no metallics, not even corn. Flavor is simply very light malts and the performance is fast and crisp. This beer is not at all satisfying, but it’s really not that bad.

This shocked him, and he left, we tried to sell one case of this crap, but I gave it away, How Ultra is still around, I don’t know, I guess a carb craze. Go figure
