This beer is by far the best value in the market. My dad used to work for coors and back when extra gold first came out, it was their premium product... too bad no one bought it.

One of the few American beers I actually enjoy. It’s good enough to be considered Canadian (don’t hit me). Truthfully, a fine, nicelybodied beer....good to sip...wouldn’t want to chug it though...filling.

12oz can picked up as partof a 30pack at Hannaford’s in Derry. Pours a light amber crystal-clear body with a good inch of off-white short-lived head. Aroma is dominated by biscuit and cracker, tinged with some hints of adjunct, hay/cut grass, and a small bit of DMS (cooked corn). Flavor is fairly bready with slight hay-like flavor in the background, and just the slightest hint of cooked corn in the background. Light-bodied with moderate to high effervescent carbonation. Extremely drinkable, even for the style, since it has such a pleasant flavor and a clean finish. Tastes very good, an easy drinker, better than your average American adjunct lager, and probably the best thing going for the price (50 cents/12oz can).

This beer is excellent overall. Perfect for the daily beer drinker that does not want a light beer. The full flavor is richer than most all other American leading brands. Coors scored in my book!

A fine brew for general purpose quaffing. lite enough to use for relaxation but NOT TOO LITE...AS SOME COMPANY PRODUCTS ARE...a workhorse beer...comfortable and non-descript. Great for the recliner chair after work.
