I think that I tried one of these a few decades ago, but I’m not really sure. I have a friend, Tom, that I’ve really tried to expose to good beer. I took him a case of Homebrew, batch #8, which was a clone of Black Dog with a double dose of raspberry flavor (his request), one Home brew batch #7, a clone of Schneider Aventinus, an Oskar Blues Mama’s little Pils, and a Spaten Oktoberfest. I drank the Oktoberfest that I had for myself and the only thing left that was cold was Tom’s Coors Light. Not much of a trade, but here goes.
No Aroma and almost no color. The taste is initially that of watery cardboard, but it warms to a watery metal flavor. Not near as good as bottled water. beerme1 (17), , Missouri, USA

Not much flavor here think it’s a mix of cheap corn and rice. Hops cannot taste. Not the worst of the American light beers but I’m not defending it here by any means. Quantity not quality with this beer. Does taste better in Colorado but this might be a mind trick or the high altitude. dimenhetfield (190), , Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 26, 2009 It not’s a "beer drinkers" type of beer. Light with no flavors that can be detected. The appearance is extremly clear, almost too watery. potbeercollege (371), Boulder, Colorado, USA

There was a time when Coors was coveted on the east coast. My how things change. Now it’s reviled. This swill is as bad as it gets. Mass marketed to the simple people of which there are many. Bad pour, bad appearance, bad flavor, bad palate. Overall impression? Bad.
