GMUcrew7 (155), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Apr 21, 2008 Puts the P in pale lager. Really no aroma, color, head, flavor or any redeeming qualities to speak of other than the fact that it is easy to drink, and doesn’t taste as bad as a lot of other cheap beers.
chops (9), Brantford, Ontario, Canada does not count Jul 19, 2008 I only ever drink this beer on the golf course. I think because I am dehydrated and looking for a little hydration in my life. Probably not a good thing in a beer. Coors light is cheap and accessible. If it wasnt I would never drink it cluny6 (35), Cambridge, England Jul 17, 2008 absolute crap! Iwould not use this even for cooking. This is a cheap, american beer who solely relies on advertising to get people to drink it FatPhil (1960), Espoo, Finland Jul 17, 2008 Keg (JDW’s, Harrow) 4.5%
In my notes, as tasting a whole farking pint of this (bought in a round for a mate who never appeared at the pub) at that, I wrote precisely nothing. I decided that was the best way to capture the aroma, and the taste, and the finish, of this product. (I’m not gonna call it a ’beer’, that’s for sure.) elihapa (193), Hawaii, USA Jul 17, 2008 Well, let me explain why this beer is better than the "heavy" version. Simple: this beer is more useful! It can be used for fast-paced drinking games, casual summer drinking, and will generally satiate partying, non-beer-drinking types. Can Coors original say that? NO. Of course, I am not condoning that hideous metallic-grainy flavors found throughout this macro brew. . . Jblauvs (102), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jul 14, 2008 I have probably drank more Coors light in my life than any other beer on the planet. However, that doesn’t mean it tastes good. Straw pour with a metallic accrid aroma. watery mouthfeel and watery taste. but damnit! its as cold as the Rockies!
