Taste is grains and corn with slight acidicness. Wet, long ending with more malts than the others. Doesn’t have a crisp, abrupt ending. This one lingers

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Another classic approaches the rating table. 24 ounce cream-colored cold-activated can with a frost brew liner. Maybe this beer corporation should spend a little more on their beers and a little less on their cans. Pours out like a typical pale lager with a fast-fading head - only the color approaches a light green. Irritating, fairly skanky scent - stale yeast predominates. The taste is not the worst - some corny sweetness, mixed with malts and a hint of bitter hops. Light-bodied with a fairly mild flavor overall. Adding lime juice does improve it a little. This is mediocre, but drinkable stuff. Still, I remember back to the 1970s and early 1980s when this beer was delicious, and rare in the eastern USA. The unique, nutty flavor that once characterized a frosty Coors is just a memory now. What went wrong? Guinnessman (94), VACAVILLE, California, USA

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Coors...now I remember why. Smelled like corn and grain and poured a pale yellow. Slightly better the the Budwieser I had a couple of day ago, but still not so good. greedycheater (80), Oklahoma, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 5/5 | 2/20 | Jun 25, 2008 Pale yellow, almost as clear as water. White head that dissipates quickly. No lacing and big carbonation. Grassy aroma with maybe some corn and wheat (to be generous). Clean, watery taste with a slight touch of barley (translated - grass) on the finish. No aftertaste. Not my choice anytime I have one. Rciesla (3770), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Otherwise unless your snowed in, drink something else besides this pale lager. PsionSaint (51), Colorado, USA

Not bad but certainly not good. Actually tastes quite different if you get it from the tap on the brewery tour. DYCSoccer17 (2200), Davis, California, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 6, 2008 24 ounce can procured from the local Circle K. Aroma is a bit fruity with some yeast esters present. Some floral notes are also in there. Pretty sweet and sugary aroma. Not half bad, though. Transparent golden body with a quickly dissipating fizzy white head. No lacing. Start is highly carbonated before it becomes grainy, corny, with some cereal malts and milky flavors. Slight astringency late. Light grassy bitterness. This actually isn’t half bad.
