Could be worse. A quenching, watery American common. One of the best of the mass-produced American lagers I’ve had.

Pity Coors brewing. One of the most sought after beers in the country when it wasn’t available (due to Coors refusal to pasteurize) now has wide distribution and a declining market share. Although this could be due to the relative popularity of Coors Light. Anyway I was not looking forward to tasting this Coors regular and bought the smallest amount I could get, a 24oz. can. This beer pours golden color with a minimal head and few lacings. Little aroma leaves the glass but the flavor is very good for a macro pale lager. Not one I will buy much of as I lean more toward APA or IPA’s these days. A pretty good general purpose American macro.

It is what it is. As far as macro lagers go this is my favorite. Golden straw in color with an adjunct nose. Smooth, crisp and easy to drink. Good summer BBQ beer.

Can. Sweet corn, grass and band-aid in the aroma, smell, whatever you can call that. Fizzy white head that lasts about 45 seconds. Clear yellow body. Sweet taste with a hint of urine. Light body, dry texture and craze-intense carbonation.

Not only is this one of the cheapest beers available, it is one of the best CHEAP pale lagers out there. We all know American Corporate Brewers are just there to make a buck, but this stuff is not bad at all if you ask me. I also consider the $3.99 price tag for a 6-pack of pints. The aroma is very aromatic. A very pungent cheap hop smell. These fools don’t use good hops at all. The malts are a joke. This beer has the typical transparent appearance. This beer tastes just like the rest of the American Pale Lager garbage you can buy anywhere in the U.S.

Cream corn and fruit on the nose. Rich gold color. Surprisingly nice balance for a mass-produced American beer--decent hoppiness to it as well. Good body with nice carbonation. Pretty solid for what it is...there are much worse beers in the mass-produced arena. Definitely a solid choice when looking for an uncomplicated beer.

Not good. I’m tired of commenting on all the crappy pale lagers if’ve had over the years...
