| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jan 21, 2007 Updated: Jan 22, 2007Bottle, from non-dimpled mug, at 55F. Dated APR0107. Bubbly white soda-pop head, fades to nothing. Color is "American macro pale lager yellow" (I just invented that name, but it suits so many beers). Oh my goodness...this aroma -- or lack thereof -- makes me want to go back and re-rate the other pale lagers I’ve sampled; I LITERALLY cannot detect anything. Budweiser is a smorgasbord of aromatic sensory overload by comparison. If possible, would give this aroma a zero. Mouthfeel is light and thin, yet syrupy, with flat carbonation. I feel like a broken record; all American pale lagers are nearly identical. Tastes like...are you ready for it? Corn syrup. WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED?! Finishes the same as it tastes. This is truly bad beer. The fact that this is rated above Budweiser can only be attributed to backlash against Anheuser-Busch; Bud is clearly superior to this on all counts -- but that’s not saying much. maverick5623 (14), santa barbara, California, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 15, 2007 Pours a fairly clear pale yellow, about a half inch of fizzy white head, which disappears rapidly. Not much of an aroma at all. Can you smell carbonation?
Extremely light malt and a touch of generic bitterness. No sicky-sweet taste, thankfully. Smooth, cold, and refreshing, just no character. Still, I could probably drink it all day, if I had to. Very light body. graham515 (433), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 8, 2007 Tried this the other day because I’ve put it off this long, but I gotta say it wasnt as terrible as i thought it’d be. Pours a little darker than coors light and has a bit more flavor to it. I’d buy it again if money gets tight bendz1 (86), Ankeny, Iowa, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 7, 2007 OK beer if you are talking about mass produced beers. I still much prefer micro brews or imports. ridgeman (37), Connecticut, USA
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jan 7, 2007 Prett much same as the light with more calories, if you are going with a coors brew you are better off sticking with a light as there is vitually no difference. Wildo67 (27), USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jan 7, 2007 I would prefer a coors light any day, just as I would prefer a miller light to an MGD. If you are gonna drink a stupid weak beer then go light, if not then go with Stone Brewing Co.
