| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Dec 19, 2005 The aroma is toasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. The appearance is dark brown and red with a small but foamy head. The flavor is chocolate, coffee, toasted malt, caramel, and just the right amount of bitter hops. The palate is a bit thin though. A good choice. matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 19, 2005 Fairly new here in town. –Whoopee…
Pours a pleasing dark hued amber body and a dense light khaki hued head. The aroma shows some decent sweet fruity esters: red apple, plum, some date sugars, molasses, some decent notes of caramel and toffee, some nutty seasons a cheap can of mixed nuts. …. The palate is, as expected, thin and weak… the finish is lightly sticky and there is some astringent bitterness. Probably the best beer made with the Coors name bolstering it! | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Garnet in color with a thin white head that is quickly diminishing. Very light grainy aroma, perhaps a touch of cinnamon, but that may be pushing it. Some light caramel and some mild citric hop bitterness in the flavor, finish has slight toast. Highly carbonated. My wife put it best: "it’s kinda crappy." Nejhleader (930), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 17, 2005 coors brewing company can celebrate another crappy beer. This tastes like coors with nutmeg sprinkled on it. It was difficult for me to finish the entire bottle. BuckNaked (1211), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 17, 2005 Bottle: Deep amber with brownish hints and a small beige head that quickly dies. Aroma is lightly burnt caramel, plastic, and mild grain. Taste is burnt artificial caramel, toffee, grains, light plastic, vegitables. Light bodied, medium carbonation, hard force carbonated. Finish is unremarkable, light grains and some artificial sweetener is the best I can do. RAYBOY01 (1870), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 16, 2005 Best beer by Coors I ever had...very. simple, straightforward, uncomplicated, easy-drinking winter amber...all about the malt. Caramel malt sweetness with toffee and nut flavors. Bit of hoppy bitterness and crisp finish. Very repeatable and I am surprised by the quality here! Nate (2569), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Dec 14, 2005 LIght toasty grain aroma. Mild caramel notes, light CO2, mild hops. Overall, a weak aroma. Dark caramel brown clear with thin off-white lacing head. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with dry maltiness. Bit of caramel and corny flavor. Light acidity, mild carbonic notes. Mild hops taste, kind of neutral fruitiness. Mild bitter finish with dull nutty after. Mediocre at best, and in case it wasn’t clear ... mild.
