| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 2, 2007 The 12 ounce bottle poured a clear deep reddish amber beverage with an ample smooth off-white head that was mostly diminishing and average to poor lacing on the glass. The aroma was fully malt centric with the most prominent contributions coming from sweet caramel with some back notes of grass and earth. The body was medium with average carbonation and a watery texture. The flavor started off lightly sweet and gradually took on a light bitterness through the medium length finish. This is a load better than Coors light. jimhilt (1689), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 28, 2007 Pours a four finger cream head that fades quickly to a ring leaving a good lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Slight malty nose. Starts with a slight sweetness, balanced with slight bitter finish, more like a brown. Far better than their lager. $1.50 for a 12oz bottle from Capital Convenience Concord, NH. Darkover (1316), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 27, 2007 Pretty dark and flavorful for Coors. Unfortunately it is not a taste I enjoy. Sweet and spicy with a bitter finish. The first couple sips are okay but gets old very quick. Would hate to have to drink a large quantity of this. xav33 (313), Midland, MI, Michigan, USA

12 oz bottle
Medium pour in a tulip glass
Best before 01/07, barely bested 01/07
Poured a clear dark red with a fizzy light brown mostly lasting head.
Smelt moderate brown sugar, mixed nuts, toasted malt, spices and dirt.
Taste was upfront moderate bitter dirty grain, mixed nuts spices and soy followed by a strong bitter awkward grain skin on a short finish. Palate was light bodied, watery, lively carbonated and slightly astringent.
There is something way off here. It tastes too much like grain-seeped well water. The old wells that are infected by God knows what. It’s not unbearable, just awkward. undsioux7 (561), Cologne, Minnesota, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 12, 2007 Dark amber with big tan head. Candy aroma is light, but decent with a hint of carmel and hops. Taste is malty, but watered down, like the mouthfeel. $2/12oz fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 11, 2007 Amber color. Poor aroma. The flavor is ok, with just a lot of caramel, and correct bitterness. Easy.
