Clear brown body with a nice light caramel head. The nose has a bit of both good and bad in it. I can smell a nice sugared plum and caramel, and also a wet concrete in the city after a brief summer rain scent that I don’t associate with good times. After the first taste the first word that comes to mind is “raw” something like greasy chicken skin with a copper taste that lingers. The caramel flavor is not coming through in a good way, like a piece of candy gone to spoil. While this will never be a repeat purchase, I can at least say I would drink it if it was free and there was nothing else available.

I think that if I had to drink it any quicker however I would not have enjoyed it as much. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/20 | Dec 31, 2006 Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a very light white head. Aroma is non existent, taste is just weird. It’s a touch sour with a slight aftertaste. Maybe this beer was skunky, I am not sure. garrison (459), Cin. city, Ohio, USA

I really must congradulate Coors...this isn’t their usual Rocky Mountain piss. But it still isn’t a really good beer... Tmoney99 (4783), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

The beer poured a nice amber with a light cream color head. The smell is all most sweet with hints of malt. The taste is a bit sour with a high carbonation feel in your mouth.
Nice flavor with little to no after taste. SudsMcDuff (1703), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

Tasty simple bitters..good ass lacing!...some good malt flavours...some very small decention of alcohol but goes well with everything..one of the best new winter beers for me this season!! yayforbeer (648), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 3, 2006 Sampled at Broudy’s Holiday Beerfest Jacksonville, FL 12/2/2006. This appears to be another case of a macro brewer trying to break out with a worthwile offering. Though it only rises to mediocre in the craft brew realm, its light years ahead of everything else produced at Coors. Nice copper hue and thin white head. Body is medium, not at all like the typical Coors seltzer-water. Some caramel and malt and a few rough edges, but still a drinkable amber.
