Feb 9, 2007 great nose, smokey, slightly sweet. some choc. large amount of head, cool for cask ale again brought back to Canada. great job border patrol!!! nice caremel notes, again smoke and good hop flavour, nicely hidden alcohol as said earlier.

Dec 28, 2006 On tap: The aroma consists of caramel, chocolate, light smoke, and a hint of mint. Dark reddish-brown with some transparency and a small beige head. The flavor starts with caramel and light fruitiness. It finishes with some smokey chocolate and light bitterness and the faintest notes of alcohol.
