NachlamSie (1356), Tennessee, USA Feb 27, 2006 draught. Nice deep red hue, the head fades away after a few moments. The aroma is thin, but there’s a bit of grapefruit and sweet malt present. This isn’t super hoppy, though a bit biting. A bit of citrusy sweetness is there. This just needs better and more hop flavor. Not a great rendition of the style, it reminds me more of an American amber.
