Copper Creek American Porter

Tap at Copper Creek, Athens GA pours ruby dark, off white head. taste and aroma, malty, nice chocolate coffee notes. roasted malts, light notes of chocolate malts, some floral hops come finish it with a light yeasty palate..

Tap. Poured dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of pine hops and chocolate. Taste is similar, though less hoppy. Chocolate really comes forward, as does some swet malt. Mouth is pretty full. Pretty easy drinking. Overall, an interesting american stout.

Dark red hues with no head. Chocolate and a little roasted malt. Could use more hops for an american porter. Not too bad paired with the stout marinated pork chops.

Pours a very dark brown with a creamy head. the aroma is a thin roastiness and a bit of hop character. The flavor is a bit thin and lacks the rounded maltiness I was hoping for. Not bad, and a great compliment to the porter and molasses marinated pork chop I had.
