Every beer rocks and this is no exception (if I ever buy a brewery, I’ll spare no expense to get him to leave Copper Creek or either work double-duty). Cloudy copper with a big head, at least for a barleywine. The aroma is fresh grapefruit rind hops. Great aroma. There’s a bit of that barleywine butter/fruit. There’s a bitter finish and bit of soil. It’s not really over the top, but could perhaps benefit from a bit of aging. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

I thought this was the best beer at the GA Craft Brew Challenge. Poured a dark ruby color. Very big dry hopped aroma. Aroma also of dried fruits that carried over the flavor. Sweet medium bodied with a minor bitter hop backing. skaughty (621), Marietta, Georgia, USA

The hops are huge, but mostly for aroma...as the finish doesn’t have the strong bittering part. Caramel, toffee and maple syrup are the common elements to the aroma and taste.
