Commercial Description:
This experimental style combines an Irish Stout grain bill with chocolate cocoa and a Belgian yeast strain. End result is a stout with a wild tart raspberry character slowly edged out.

Black with little to no head. Subtle yeasty malt aroma. Some fruitiness coupled with a grainy dryness. A bit thin and flat, really. Disappointed in this one.

Appearance: Black body with a small, off-white head. Smell: Relatively mild aroma of vinous dark fruits overlaying a roasted malt character. Taste: Mild, creamy maltiness with a taste of dark chocolate. Some golden raisins, a couple berries. Drying, choco-fruity finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Drinkability: Not bad!

Mode: Draft, Nitro
Source: Brewpub

Appearance: black, dense tan nitro head, solid lace,
Aroma: dry roasted malt aroma with sweet fruity esters,
Body: creamy body,
Flavor: sweet fruity flavor is well balanced with the roasted malt making it neither prodominantly fruity nor roasted, touch of dark chocolate, light fruity tartness adds even more complexity,
Overall: mostly the dry Irish stout but the Belgian esters add the needed balancing sweetness and a really nice fruity character,
