decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Mar 1, 2009 Mahogany pour with foamy tight head and lace. Pie spiced aroma. Nice malt, nutmeg, gingerbread, and maybe eggnogish flavor with a pleasant bitter. Medium bodied with a tad aggressive carbonation. Very nice. Hank1980 (732), Athens, Georgia, USA Feb 5, 2009 On tap at CCBC. Pours clear dark amber brown with a nice beige head. Aroma of sweet and roasted malt, spice, dark fruit. I’m not good with spices, so it’s a little hard for me distinguish. Taste is somewhat similar with the roasted malt and spice providing a nice balance to the sweet malt flavors. Body is smooth and relatively full. Finish is also smooth. Overall, a nice winter warmer from CCBC.
