Flaske 0,5l: Gave fra Rune. Takker! Lys gylden på farge. Høyt kremaktig skum som varer lenge. Litt uklart. Sterk og god fruktig aroma. Smaken er avrundet fruktig med en tørr bitter ettersmak som varer lenge. Et godt øl. KI=1

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly sweet malty nose with delicate citrus-fruity hops and a tinge of anise. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Mild malty base with citric and flowery hops; moderately bitter noble hoppy finish. 13.XII.09

50cl bottle, label has been updated. Cold-filtered blonde pours a deep golden yellow with a big, soapy off-white head. Decent retention, generous lacing. Aroma of citrus, yeast and some malt. Vaguely skunky subtext. Medium-bodied blond ale with moderate carbonation. Rather thick, oily mouth-feel for a light (4.2 %) beer. Citrusy hops dominate the flavour, but are balanced against bready malt - so this isn’t a true pale ale, more like a golden blond or lager. Some spicy herbs add to the texture, and the beer gets more bitter towards the middle. Dry, hoppy finish, lingering, very mildly bitter after taste. A most agreeable golden ale that is very refreshing, but more complex than some. Very well balanced, not too light, not too heavy, and much better than many blond German or Czech beers. Drink irresponsibly!

Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze in Barton upon Humber. gold, lasting fluffy white head and good condition. Low citrusy hop nose with some green appleskin notes, quite soft and muted in the mouth with a gentle oily bitterness and slight graininess, low but lingering bitterness in the finish.

Bottle at La Cerveteca 27. June 2009. Smells of boiled hops and boiled vegetables. White dense foam with some bigger bubbles which sticks to the glass. Clear and bright. Unbalanced flavour. Too heavily hopped, overshadowing other features of the beer.

Blonde, almost like a lager to look at, this beer tastes utterly delicious. The initial citrus hoppiness explodes on the tongue before leaving a glorious aftertaste which lingers and leaves you wanting more. Exquisite.

Guest, cask-conditioned at the Orange Tree, Altrincham. Light gold colour with medium, lasting white head. Lightly toasted malt nose with citrussy grassy hop aromas. Pretty much the same in the flavours with a good finish, sweet but leading to a dry finish. Lightness of the palate make this an easy going summer beer.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Golden colour, no head. Aroma: cardboard, pale ale malts, bitter. Flavour bitter malts, very lager-like. Not much taste.
