Deep malt, caramel. and brisket aroma (yes, BRISKET!). Nice deep, golden color with a creamy, beige head that last longer than others have said it does. Leaves a gorgeous lacing on the glass. Bourbon whiskey/caramel flavor with too quick a finish. EXTRA (yes, I intended ALL large case letters) thick, caramel consistency feel on the tongue, palate, and throat. You can taste the texture of this brew in your olfactory, I shit you not!!! An OUTSTANDING beer at ANY price!!! But...did I mention I got it for $2.99 for six 12 ounce bottles?

If you can find it give it a try. suddenlyissoon (2), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 2, 2008 Did I drink something different that the rest of you? Clear amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Malty nose. Flavor is sweet bourbon and caramel, unusual lager, hops are in the background. Label has this brewed by the Naked Lion Brewing Co and their web site is nakedlion.com. $1.50 for a 12oz clear bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT drpimento (865), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 28, 2007 Amber in color. Slight head and lace. nothing special except for the sour mash thang. Does give it a bit of a bite and curious character. Edgy. Tangy. a bit chewy. Not much hop. Fizzy. A bit boozy. Made yesterday at City Brewery and introduced today at the Between the Bluffs Beer fest. Mildly interestsing. Supposedly a former Coors Exec. Pours fast with little head. goes down smooth and light with a nice little kick of flavor. The sour mash is definately present and recognizable. I give this beer props for being unique, but it did not knock my socks off.
A good social beer while out watching the game. 4nu815 (3), Jackson, Tennessee, USA does not count | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 9, 2007 I have been waiting to try this one for a while. Since I read this article http://memphis.bizjournals.com/memphis/stories/200 is coppery in color with a sweet almost wort like smell. Very little head. Flavor is mild with a little bit of hop notes. Mouthfeel is very carbonated. Over all it is interesting but IMHO not an incredible beer. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is hops, brown sugar, caramel malt, with a caramel malty flavor, and some mid-palate brown sugary, toffee, and hop notes. Not terrible, but not a beer I’d probably have again.
