Minor buzz but great taste from this 40oz legend. Also known as frog piss I belive this tastes better by a mile. WastedYouthBrew (143), Phila (Home of Geno's Steaks), Pennsylvania, USA

I ran inside for Quinn’s usual and distasteful request for Colt 45. This is where I ran into a brick wall known as Coqui 900. This stuff laid in my refrigerator for a week, I told Quinn to take it home with him and he didn’t. It turned my grilled chicken into fried chicken. And my apples into collar greens. What gives? This world was on some kind of stable counter balance before this beverage was manufactured and green tagged. Now our existence has plummeted to an all time low and just goes to show you the shit that people will buy, I know I did. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

Tastes like a standard forty pretty much, at least when it is relatively cold. Really, it is an ok forty with an unpronouncable name. I would drink this again I suppose. Schoolly D wrote a song about Coqui 900, it’s on his 1988 ’Smoke Some Kill’ album. Seventeen years later I’m at the corner of 9th and Washington in the Philadelphia’s Italian Market and find a deli filled with hobos drinking tall boys, 40’s and 12 ounce bottles both inside and outside of the joint. I thought what could be better than a can of beer in a bag for the walk back to the car after having Laotian food. Low and behold the deli had 16 ounce cans of Coqui 900. $1.25 a tall boy (paper bag was free). Oily, bubble gum taste. Lots of corn in every sip. South Philly hobo beer. I’ll give "900" extra points for being Schoolly D’s favorite beer and the can saying it was brewed by G. Heilman La Crosse. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA

Quite the alcohol fire burning in this one. Underlying notes of sugar and corn. Adjucty mess. jaymobrown (1360), Chicago, Illinois, USA
